Connie’s early career as a qualified nurse is her natural interest in helping others has led her to people-facing roles, more recently in the health sector she has experience interacting with clients from a range of cultures and diverse backgrounds and enjoys being in an environment where she can contribute to positive outcomes for clients.

 

Other roles have included working in schools, medical centres, a wellness centre, and with a youth charity. Keen to expand her knowledge, she has gained several diplomas and certifications in the health and wellbeing field, as well as a Diploma in Te Reo Māori and a Certificate in Mahi Ora.

 

Connie is passionate about equitable partnership within the health services. She thrives on educating communities to empower them with self-determination.
