How to Activate Your Community is a practical 60 to 90-minute workshop designed to help organisations build a more active, engaged and supportive community through social media.
Rather than focusing on chasing likes or posting more for the sake of it, this session helps participants understand how to move people from passive followers to genuine supporters, contributors and advocates. It breaks social media down into three simple pillars: where, who and what.
Participants will explore which social media platforms are worth focusing on and why, how to better understand the people they are trying to reach, and how to define a clear organisational voice that feels consistent and authentic. The workshop also introduces a simple content creation model participants can use to create posts that build trust, spark engagement and encourage action without overwhelming their team or budget.
By the end of the session, attendees will have a clearer understanding of where to focus their social media energy, what their audience needs from them, and how to create content that strengthens connection and activates their community.
