In this workshop we will cover
Navigating Structures: Setting Up Societies and Community Trusts in New Zealand
Discover the building blocks of not-for-profit success. This training is designed to demystify the process of establishing a community organisation, or transitioning to a new legal entity. This workshop is for you if you are:

Wanting to formalise your community organisation into a society or trust, or

Thinking about strategically changing to or from a trust, or
-
Considering registering as a charity.
We will explore the different options available as well as the pros and cons of each, for your particular organisation. Bring along your rules and use them for real live learning.
The session will also include introductory information on recent law changes that are impacting on community organisations in New Zealand.
