Overview Effect

In this session we will cover

Governance Matters is a series of FREE Zoom sessions focused on governance principles for boards or committees of NFP organisations in New Zealand.

Many volunteer members of committees or boards struggle to find the time to develop their skills in governance or have topics they would like to explore further but can’t devote a whole or half day to attending a workshop. These workshops are designed to be delivered in 1-1.5-hour sessions on very specific topics. Participants can attend one or more as needed. Each workshop will give basic principles and provide time for questions.

Session 3: How to get ready for the Incorporated Societies Act

The new Incorporated Societies Act has come into force and membership societies and associations will need to re-register as an incorporated society under the new act.

For many organisations, this process is a good time to consider whether you want to continue as a society, change some of your rules or convert to a charitable trust.

Join us at this workshop to find out what you need to know for this transition.

Liift is designed to assist your organisation in building capability, developing and strengthening leadership, and supporting you and your team to be adaptive and resilient in a changing environment. ANCAD brings in qualified consultants to mentor your Managers, CEOs and Governance Board/Committee members in various aspects of capability building from good governance, leadership, fundraising and marketing, to financial management and strategic planning.
