In this session we will cover

Everyone wants to be 'strategic', but what does that mean in practice? Where does the 'black box' of strategy actually come from, and how can it be developed beyond the SWOT analysis? The findings from the secret world of strategy development may surprise, but give us some very practical steps on what we can actually do. We will also uncover why it's important to deliberately bring thinking from 'both sides' of our brains to the task, and some ways we can do that. And, how can we really get boards involved, without playing a game of 'let's pretend' and having them just endorsing staff-developed plans?

This is a stand-alone workshop, but you will multiply the benefits for your organisation if also undertaken with Practical Non-profit Strategy I: How to REALLY do more with less.
