In this session we will cover
The not for profit and community sector is large, vital and influential. Tackling complex issues that require systems change is at our core. The climate crisis, like social justice and equity are massively intersectional. And like COVID or digitisation, it is also changing the context in which community organisations operate. In the next few years, the sector needs to step up, understand the climate-related risks and opportunities it faces, play a leadership role in helping our society to transition to a future, and prepare for the environmental shocks that are already unavoidable.
This session will explore how climate change impacts on how not for profit organisations operate and how it will shift needs of the community. We will discuss tools and processes for organisations to respond to changes and to ensure they are operating in a way that provides solutions.
